Loveland Sculpture Park

We had a brilliant visit to the sculpture park here today-the largest in the USA. There are more than 40 sculptures in a landscaped park-most are bronze but some are made of aluminium. The day was as we remembered Loveland-crisp, sunny but cold.
We followed this with a stroll downtown and a look at some of the antique and bookshops. They have done a good job of starting to recognise their heritage here and we recognised the Barber's shop J used to go to with the boys, as well as the Motel where we stayed with two little ones for 9 weeks or so while they decided back home if the project J was to work on, would go ahead or not.  It hasn't changed one bit in 36 years!
This evening we had dinner with previous work colleagues and the guys had fun reminiscing.
Tomorrow J is going along to the Men's Shed which he will really enjoy.
