N E Cheshire Drag hunt

Poynton Show today, famed for always being rather wet and muddy! A sunny morning was followed by a massive thunderstorm. Luckily we went early so I managed to get a shot of the Drag Hunt receiving the Stirrup Cup , which is a glass of wine for a toast before the Hunt...(this is specially for you Amanda and Jacqui as you love horses).
I used to be scared of dogs until a few years ago and Granddaughter L is as well.
I'm pleased to report that L and I went in the ring and stood with the hounds and patted a couple of them. L also got a rosette for her creative art and a highly commended in the writing section for 8-11 year olds.
