Common Goldeneye....

....The temperature dropped by 20 degrees last night and it was a penetratingly cold 12 degrees this morning, so I didn't linger very long at the park. There were lots of these goldeneyes--both male and female--out diving for fish, but only a few of them were close enough for me to get any pictures of them. I chose this one because because I thought the ice shapes added a bit of interest. :)
