Occasional Lake

This lake, which is perched on the bluff above the Waimakariri Gorge, appears after a lot of rain. I like the ambiguity of the reflection due to the rise beyond.

I'm still feeling unwell, dull and achy, and everything is an effort. My son took me to the Gorge, hoping to make me feel better. It was lovely there, warm with a gentle nor'west wind, but I didn't feel like walking or exploring.
