Very Quiet

I woke to a virtually empty house, Clare not yet in from night shift, Joshua away on ACF camp and Samantha still sleeping.
A bacon sandwich, (the butchers bacon tastes so much better), along with my normal cafetière of coffee to start the day plus a long leisurely read of the Telegraph.
Eventually I stirred myself and set off to do the weekly shop list clutched in my hand and "must stick to the budget" firmly imprinted on my brain, (another new year resolution), I did get everything on the list and went over budget but then you can't have everything.
I attempted to make a dent in the laundry pile but two airer's full was about all I achieved.
Collected Joshu from Camborne at 1730 and a leisurely dinner followed by a film finished off the day.
