Punting on the Avon

I wandered around central Christchurch on a balmy afternoon. I don't go into this part of the city often. I was able to see The Cathedral from the north (entry via Gloucester St), a side I haven't seen since before the quakes. I followed the Avon River through Hagley Park, where lots of people were picnicing on the banks of the river, amongst the daffodils (best seen in large). A superb day.

A few more photos here.
