Well...

..today I hoped I'd be able to get a snow-blip. For the last three days, I've had constant warnings for snow on my phone and tablet weather apps. I was still a little sceptical, as snow usually misses us, but the local news was insisting we'd be getting it.

And...we did! For all of about 5 minutes at about 7:40 A.M! Of course I had to go outside in my dressing gown to try to take a photo of it - who knows when I'll have another chance?

I've seen some lovely snow scene blips from other parts of the country, and other countries of course. Safe to say, this one is not going to be gracing any Christmas cards any time soon!
