A favoured place to run
Decided to watch the rugby match between Australia and New Zealand on delayed telecast last night; after establishing that I didn't need to get tense as New Zealand had a good lead half way through the second half. It was a game in which both teams suffered from trying too hard at times. Not only was it a sound victory (22 - 0), Australia actually did not come close to scoring a try and had no shots at goal. Their excellent defence did prevent four other New Zealand tries. Worth staying up late for.
Then up early and out for another morning run down to the waterfront. It is such a magical place to go on these mornings, when the sky is clear, the air cool (but not cold) and fresh, the light is perfect, the tide is in and the water still and clear. Quite sets me up for the day.
In this picture, the two viaduct bridges can be seen, especially in large. The old rail bridge is just above the yacht on the left edge of the image. The newer pedestrian bridge is on the right of the image, or at least a third of it is.
