STOVE

I had cortisone injections for my trigger fingers first thing this morning. Having been advised to rest for about 20 minutes to avoid the extraordinarily unlikely event of me coming over all unnecessary, we went for breakfast to a café across the road and sat as close as we possibly could to the stove.

At the moment I'm trying to decide whether to exercise my hands as much as possible by working, or whether to wrap them around a mug of something hot and catch up with a few missed programmes on the iPlayer, while eating leftover chocolates. It's a tough choice.
