Lean Mean Mockingbird

Took lots of hopeful blips today but this was by far my favourite, even though I just blipped a mockingbird the other day. The mockingbirds and the hummingbirds are my most frequent visitors everyday, but today I almost got a really nice looking yellow something or other, but she was spooked when I lifted the camera and she was gone...ahh the blip that got away :0)
I was intrigued by the purple on this guys beak...just a trick of the light I think but cool nonetheless.
He looked like he was giving me the mean look and I liked the way his whiskers (is that what they are called on birds?) showed up in this shot.
