Flower Friday 13.......

This cute little fluffball is on our block "down south". It's about the only "flower" around at this time of the year. It's probably a weed ;)
I have searched all my books to no avail - maybe a species of verticordia?? 

Anyhoo - our last night here tonight. Back to the heat and humidity tomorrow and our life as a couple with no rug rats or ankle biters......we will miss them, kinda :))
