Nailed it

I get my nails done about twice a year, Christmas and Easter. Today I went to get the shellac nail polish taken off. The ladies were surprised when I didn't want them redone.

It appears all the women who work there are Vietnamese. I wonder how much they are paid, what number of hours they work? Are they being exploited? I know that compared to many in their own country, their lives are probably quite comfortable. However, as I sat there, I was filled with middle class, first world angst.
