No other explanation for the picture. Well, not quite true as I skimmed a book today called 'The Wanderer'. It's a birthday present for someone and it is about England's first Asian (Chinese) footballer who I have learned was a well known name in his time playing for both club and country but he has since been conveniently air brushed out of history. This book aims to redress the balance in some small part.

Very good meal last night. Small family run business with an emphasis on good service and good food. We went mad on the starters and shared a meat platter and a baked camembert. Meat and cheese was no issue between 4 of us but the amount of bread! Nice bread but it looked like several loaves sliced up. They then served garlic bread with the pasta main - any hopes I had of shedding a few Xmas pounds in the first couple of weeks of January have taken a blow this week.
