The Lily

The Lily is an octagon shaped windmill built in 1740. Originally it stood in Old Kralingen, till it was relocated to the Kralingen Lake in Rotterdam in 1840 where it can be found alongside another windmill called the Star - to be seen in the background - and both were built as snuff mills.
Today they are still grounding spices.
