BUILDING HAYSTACKS

The pint-sized pika doesn't hibernate.
To keep himself warm and well-fed during,
The frigid winter, when the ground is covered with snow.

He must build a good sized cache of grasses & flowers.
A 'haystack' can contain as much as a bushel of dried plants.

This little Turbo Pika scurried from rock to rock.
Appearing with stash-in-mouth for a nano-second.

My 7d connected with one of the nanoseconds.
Voila. An image in the top ten of my bucket list.
