Birthday Day

My cold seems to have eased quite a bit today, for which I'm grateful. The good news is I've lost 7lbs, where I haven't been eating much while I've had the cold.
Thank you all for your good wishes for yesterday's blip. I've had 8 cards, lots of lovely FB messages and texts and an animated e-card. I think I have another couple of cards to come, having cancelled celebrations today,
It has rained most of the day, but now my car is covered in snow, as is the front and back lawns. The road and pavement still just look wet. I expect it is slushy stuff that's not showing up in the dark.
