I don't often get to Blip people, but my Rotary folk are reasonably willing victims. They get some content for the club's website and Facebook page.

So today's Blip is club president Heather with the manager (Adele) of our new meeting venue - the Victoria Hotel. It's an improvement on the last place in lots of ways.

However - the big "BUT" - the room is a nightmare for photography. It has a huge chandelier style light which hangs low in the centre of the room, then a series of wall mounted lights, and of course a window.

No doubt someone with skill wouldn't think twice about any of that, but it had me muttering a few bad words under my breath.

I enjoyed my bacon roll and coffee, so that's some compensation.
