Golden Owl

I had a meeting in Leeds today, I walked past the town hall on my way to the meeting where I passed one of a pair of large golden owls sitting atop tall stone pedestals.
The owls come from the coat of arms of Leeds.
There are actually 3 owls on the coat of arms, one either side wearing crowns and a smaller one on top without a crown.
