Beauty Parlour
Both Milo and I went to the Beauty Parlour this morning, he was stripped and my hair has been cut and coloured. He looks a handsome chap. I'll like mine more when I have washed and dried it - at the moment it is too sleek. I like it ruffled and messy
As I was in town I have treated you to another bollard. This one must be one of the originals as it was sponsored by the Hat Fair - an annual event, the first weekend in July, where there is lots of street entertainment.
It is in the style of Robert Delauney.
It has been raining but then the sun came out.
While I was blipping another one, someone approached and started to talk to me about them. She had been having a coffee outside one of the cafe's and hadn't notice them until she saw them blipping them.
People just don't look.
Go large to see the drops
Robert Delaunay (12 April 1885 - 25 October 1941) was a French artist who, with his wife Sonia Delaunay and others, cofounded the Orphism art movement, noted for its use of strong colours and geometric shapes. His later works were more abstract, reminiscent of Paul Klee. His key influence related to bold use of colour, and a clear love of experimentation of both depth and tone.
The things that made me smile: Miss Flash met me in town and we went for a coffee where she works. People said that we looked like sisters - what humbug and tosh
Exercise: Walked down town and back
PS It is a year tomorrow since I fell off my bike
PPS If you have newly subscribed to my journal I have a thing about the painted bollards in Winchester
