Contract Signing

It was more of a "confirmation-of-receipt-of-document" signing. Today i received the notification of approval of my automatic promotion by virtue of my finishing my PhD more than 6 months ago. I was promoted 4 ranks higher than I was before I started my PhD. So come to think of it, 1 rank per year of study. Hmmmm not bad at all but I would have wanted to have crossed ranks from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor. It is bizarre to think that i am really back from the UK.
