Today's part of the learning curve (thank goodness for You Tube - yes I know there's a lot of shite rubbish on there but for crafters and hobbyists it's a brilliant resource) in extras - joining the shoulder seams as invisibly as possible...  it's called grafting.
Funny - in my part of the world the miners who did real graft would have laughed at the idea of any part of the knitting process as proper graft.
Next - picking up stitches around armhole openings to begin knitting down the sleeves.... back to You Tube :-)
