Good Day For A Drive

This is the view to the flow of traffic in the distance on Highway 7.  We stopped at the Marble Hill camping/picnic spot just south of Springs Junction with our sandwiches and thermos like frugal older persons :-)  Both Murchison and Springs Junction were packed with people.  Since the earthquake that affected Kaikora and State Highway 1 this section of road is much busier.  There was rain for the first part of the trip and this was my only photo.  On the return journey I hope to stop more often and take photos.
