Call to arms

A cold day. Disrupted by overnight winds. The closure of the Forth Bridge disrupted attendance at work for some. But despite that lots of meetings held from 8.30.

I even heard a fellow blipper on the radio extolling the virtues of recycling!

Had to go out to the bank at lunchtime. Glorious crisp sunny day though the wind was cold and eye-streaming.

I took a cut through Corstorphine Kirk and the light on the gate to the cemetary was striking.

I wondered about the crest. A good bit of googling later it would seem that this is the crest of the Forrester family, the Baronetcy of Corstorphine, with three bugles as part of their heraldry. Blipping does expand the mind!
