Taking my mind off yesterday

I had a busy day today which included dinner after work. It helped take my mind off yesterday's events but it all comes flooding back when you open the front door and that wee fuzzy face isn't there picking up your slipper, his dog towel or the nearest thing to paw to welcome you home.
