Soggy Shoes

So Will has moved into Mini Red Advanced at Tennis. This means his class is now 5-6pm which allows violin practice and homework to be done before we go. It also means that I have less opportunity to jobs in town as the shops will shut, so I decided to use the time to run. So of course it lashed it down! I may as well have been swimming when I got back, but I did manage to run the furthest I have run in an age (still not far) and actually it was kind of fun.

Will did well. Seems his coach has played a master stroke moving him to play with the older kids as his concentration was better and he didn't mess around at all (no one to egg him on or mess around with). He found it harder, but Will is always up for a challenge, so he's quite happy.

Carys had her first rehearsal for County Dance in March. They are dancing to Right Said Fred! I had kittens when she told me that, but apparently it is not the Right Said Fred of Richard Fairbrass fame, thankfully!
