Stone Shadows

Standing stones are still,
Yet their shadow selves have life,
Dancing with the sun.


Been feeling a bit grot for the past couple of days, so haven't ventured out much.  Back to dog walking today and great to get some fresh air.

Gorgeous sky as the sun was rising, but was too late by the time I got out, so trudged round disconsolately until I spotted these shadows ...

Ordered  a new lens via ebay - 28mm F2 Prime ...it arrived today in  a huge cardboard box - Christmas again!  Will take it for a stroll tomorrow if I can.....
