Painting exhibition, Carentan

"Are you English?" 

I thought he had spotted my tartan scarf, but no: the French did not warm to his computer-generated images, he found that it was mainly the English who were interested in them.

He had painted for many years, but in the process had recently lost all feeling in his fingers and had to experiment with a computer.  (He had never heard of David Hockney!)

Carentan holds an annual painting/sculpture exhibition, a totally different experience from Purbeck's exhibitions.
