Dry Desert?

Coming back on the 15 just outside of Primm. The normally dusty dry flatland was flooded by the recent rains. Such a wet vacation! Fortunately no flash floods over the roadway. We gave up the idea of star-gazing, although this night the 1st quarter moon was bright in the sky. *sigh* City lights blocked most of the stars.
