Gutted

California Poppy

Came back from a long day in the rain at the allotment trying to get it tidier following a difficult season to find a letter from the boss man telling me I have 14 days to tidy up.

I'll put some more time in, but I do have a long list of excuses, and I can assure the man that it hasn't gone exactly to plan.

Still, uncultivated? I still have good spuds and broad beans and fruit and quite a lot more. The weeds are highish, I admit, and a lot of the other stuff has been eaten.

I'm disappointed.
