They are back

I don't know where the Mallards went to keep themselves warm when the weather was coldest, but now, as It's on the warmer side again, they are back, sitting on the floes just like they did earlier.

I saw also a solitary common goldeneye diving near the mallards. It shouldn't be back in Finland yet. I hope she survives through February.
