Pretty Valley Yards

We camped at Pretty Valley Yards, high up on Bogong High Plains at 1660m altitude. We chatted to a horse wrangler, he caught wild horses, broke them in and sold them on once they were tame. He had spent over a month on these high planes as you're allowed to roam anywhere. He and his horses and other wranglers were about to start a 5 day expedition with the wild horses.
 The girls went for a long run, whilst I took a shorter route direct to the summit of choice "Mount Niggerhead". On the descent I took a straight route to Tawonga huts through the bush and came very close to a brown snake, which remained sunbathing grass despite my loud footsteps.
