Mum was watching eagle-eyed over baby while they waited for Dad to come in from sea with the food.

I called in at my usual penguin spot this afternoon before heading off to try Shag point again.  Just as well I did, as I still couldn't find any there.

Lots of seals though.  There were a lot more seals than I've ever seen at Katiki too.  I've wondered if the earthquakes around Kaikoura have sent them south.
