Plain and simple

Its been a very wet day today, rained non stop and still raining now at gone 7pm!! Anyhow I had work in Allonby and Maryport this afternoon and afterwards took Bonnie for a walk on the beach a few miles from Allonby called Cross Canonbie which is a favourite of mine. The rain had fortunately eased off for us and we had a lovely walk. The tide was coming in and of course Bonnie had to go for a paddle and I had my wellies on so joined her!! There was a lot of soft sand/mud around which made life interesting!

I took lots of photos mainly focussing on objects in the sand, rocks, brightly coloured stone, seaweed, white feathers, but when I looked at them all on the computer it came down to a seaweed/white feather one or this view. I'm always a sucker for a view so it won!! I love the simplicity and plainness of it!
