A Christmas Columbarium

When I go to the national cemetery near our house, I usually gravitate to the white headstones. Especially when they are surrounded by green and red wreaths.

But, some people choose not to be buried in the ground. Instead, some want to be cremated. Thus, columbariums  are offered.


I found out from my research that these individual boxes are called niches. Most of them would hold urns or other accepted containers.

A lot of the trees in the horseshoe shaped spaces were decorated.
