DINOSAUR

At my junior school in Surrey, we were given six bible quotes per week to find & put  into context & write a bit about them. Three from the Old & three from the New Testaments. I got to be pretty good at this.

At my next school in Suffolk, the "Religious Education" was so pathetic that I just f mucked about until we had this competition of bible knowledge which I would have won with my hands tied behind my back.

I won this dinosaur of a Concise Oxford Dictionary (1952)...  I had it rebound by a Bombay (Mumbai) cowboy in 1959 - at least his gold leaf has  survived the years!
