Will my belly get wet in this?

Took Eddie out at 7.30am because the weather forecast was so bad, didn't rain until 4pm, could've had a lie in. Eddie was about to go rushing through this, then seemed to look up at us for permission, then decided against it. He goes in the water but doesn't swim, he doesn't like getting water in his ears. He always has a nasty shock when what he thinks is just a puddle swallows him up, he's getting a bit more cautious.
