Travels To Troncones

Troncones is a really small town a half hour's drive north of Zihuatanejo. It is touted as authentic Mexico, the way Zihua was before becoming overrun by tourists. It is frequented by surfers (there are a couple of decent breaks) or others escaping the crush of civilization. I was helping a friend move here for her job as an eco-tour guide when I passed this rental shop. There are no stores to speak of in Troncones (at least for things like groceries or clothing), just a half dozen places like this to rent surfboards and bicycles.
