Queuing for a bus

One of the bus queues at Waterloo this morning - this stretched under the bridge and around to the bus stop on the other side of the bridge.

There was a strike but Transport for London workers, meaning the Underground was more or less closed.

Lots more people were  walking today; but long bus queues. I wonder how many people's geography of London is informed by the Underground map rather than actual distances?
