RSPB Loch Kinnordy

My first 2017 U3A Photography class this morning, followed by our Christmas/New Year lunch, much enjoyed by 15 of us.  I didn't get home until 2.30 pm, but it was still dry and sunny, so TJ and I went out for a drive to the RSPB venue at Loch Kinnordy, near Kirriemuir.

Most of the birds were a fair distance away, so shots were taken on long zooms and not too sharp, but we identified lots of lapwing (peewits), mallards, swans and a couple of Golden Eyes.  After an hour in the hide, we were frozen stiff so made our way home again just before the rain started.  Nice to get some fresh air after a morning indoors.
