Seen in Cambridge

Saw this in Cambridge today - don't know what it represents but it interested me as it is a pestle and mortar - nothing so unusual about that, but why an owl sitting on the top?
Am without my MacBook for a few days - the trackpad was sticking badly so they need to replace the top casing. Hope I can manage to Blip with the iPad until I get it back. Very glad it is still under the 3 year warranty - the invoice estimate is £401 but it is marked 'total to pay £0 !
