Lichen and rust (Day 607)

Shortly after 7 this morning,  my beautiful wife returned from her overnight shift at work, and as daylight crept in we took the dogs for a wander up the hill. There wasn't much of a wind and it didn't feel too cold. Best of all, it was dry.
HV soon trundled off to Stromness to ride horses, and I headed west too to make a start on ripping out a shower enclosure. I had finished my bit of destruction by lunchtime, and decided to head home to walk the dogs. Reconstruction of the shower can start tomorrow.
I took the dogs out to Wasdale again and I quite liked the colours of the lichen on an old steel beam.
After dog walking, HV and I went out on the bikes again. Double yesterday's distance and still not too uncomfortable. It only rained a little bit today, and I reckon I can use today's route as a good training route over the next while.
