Better late than never.

It was Broxburn Children's Gala today and, thankfully, the weather stayed dry for the procession.

It normally takes place in June, but was cancelled due to lack of support. Happily though the day was saved and - although a couple of month late - it was great to see so many different groups involved in the procession.

Not surprisingly, the Olympic theme played a big part in many of the costumes and these four pooches - and their escort - certainly weren't going to be left out!!
