MonoMonday: Frog's Eye View
Marlieske has set the interesting challenge of "Frog's Eye View" for this week's MonoMonday.
I tried to imagine what a frog would see whilst floating on the surface of a pond. I actually used a bucket of water in the garden and put my phone into a waterproof (OK, almost waterproof...!) case as I don't have a waterproof case for my camera (Note: The phone did survive). Frogs are said to be shortsighted so I put a graduated blur onto the scene, increasing with distance. Then I added a "spherize" filter in Photoshop to try to simulate the wide field of view which a frog has. (I'd hoped to be able to use the clip-on fisheye lens on my phone, but there wasn't room for it in the waterproof case.)
