Busy bee

Caught this wee guy while out walking today, very busy beneath the flowers.

I finished a blanket I designed from scratch for Lauren's birthday in a few weeks. She had picked an idea and I drew, learnt and created all the parts, stuck it together (240 odd squares worth) and threw together a border to go round it. Not bad for my first attempt.

Now to start (and learn and design) the hexagonal ombre one Caitlin. Life is much calmer when I'm actively relaxing!
