So right before the new year our little cat had to be put down, he suffered from what is known as a "saddle thrombus," which is basically a blood clot that lodged itself where the aorta branches of into the hind legs. He declined very fast and was in excruciating pain and unfortunately there was nothing that could have been done to save him. It was a very tough loss for me, but the kind staff at the emergency vet were able to make a clay mold of his paw print for us, which we received today. It was very sweet of them and it's probably one of my most prized possessions
