Castello Sannazzaro, Giarole

This is the castle in which we stayed. Guiseppe and Laetitia Sannazzaro inherited it and, while it is splendid, it is a burden to them too as it is crumbling. The Italian state offers no financial help and the time is coming when they have to consider whether they can afford to keep it on. Visit while you can - they do B&B and are wonderful hosts.
