Christmas heroes - the men of the family

(Back-blipping - and still a long way to go).


Our nephew cooked a wonderful dinner last night, one son-in-law, a chef, was busy in the restaurant cooking Christmas lunch for dozens and the other cooked a wonderful meal for us at our younger daughter's house. I wonder if the grandsons and great nephews will follow suit? Too bad  the men of my generation weren't quite so active in the kitchen - at least in our family.
 
Wonderful to be with the family, although a sad Christmas for Marcelo, whose mother died recently, the day after returning to Brazil after spending 5 months with them. He retired to her room once he got home for some quiet time with his memories.
