On Golden Pond

After a morning spent swimming, ironing and preparing a roast dinner while Alan painted the ceiling, we all went for a walk at the beach just before sunset.  The colours were amazing, reflecting on the sea - I've put a few others in my extras.

Tonight we've been to Elif's birthday party, and she kindly invited mum too.  It was lovely, Seyran her boyfriend arranged an afternoon tea and there were so many gorgeous cakes, but I was very good and didn't have any.  I even declined the prosecco!  The first week of my diet has gone really well, I've just got to keep it up now.

I haven't met my twin yet, she texted to say she wasn't feeling very well, so she's coming tomorrow instead.
