From the bottom of my heart

OK, so it did amuse me (my humour is chronic) but I thought it fitting to say thank you for your lovely messages, stars and hearts for our trip to Islay.

After taking Little Dog out this morning, I've relived the holiday sorting through my photos.  

I cannot venture into Scotland in summer (nor most of spring and autumn for that matter) for the serious attraction that I am to the midges and the disastrous reaction they cause.  But, as a winter destination, I cannot recommend Islay highly enough.  At some point, we will return, I'm sure.
