Remembering

The Canadian Air Crew lost in a crash in Oakworth on 2 Jan 1944.
It is wonderful to see they aren't forgotten, and indeed more people seem to come each year. It is off the beaten track, but this year it was at least dry and warm. This is me in the background to the Colonel from the Canadian embassy.

What lovely couple he and his wife were. Spoke to everyone and were so thankful that the locals had worked so hard to ensure the accident hadn't been forgotten, and that the men were recognised.

Mr H, miss H and G then met me for lunch to mark my birthday which had been on Wednesday ... I back blipped that one last night.
